These were actually taken in March 2006 after an Arctic storm dumped the snow on our local mountains. The Palm Springs tram has a yearly contest: If you send in a postcard and correctly guess the first recorded snowfall of the season, and your postcard is picked, you win a free dinner at the restaurant at the top of the tram! Guess I need to get busy and guess a date! Isn't the snow pretty?
