This is my first entry for the new photo website, That's My World, Tuesday.
http://showyourworld.blogspot.com/2008/10/my-world-tuesday-issue-i.html This photo was taken in March, 2006 right after a snowstorm from Alaska dumped snow on our local mountains outside of Palm Springs, CA, USA. I like the contrast of the palm trees and the snow!

What a splendid photo and you're right about the contrast! Snow and palm trees don't usually go together. :D
Great Photo! I love contrasts like this especially well. Palm Springs eh! I've never been there, looks 'cool'!
Terrific capture! Thank you for sharing your world with us.
My first thought was what a strange sight! If it was a painting, you wouldn't believe it was based on fact.

That is quite a contrast! I love it! We see the same thing happen here in Tucson when it snows on Mt. Lemmon!
Now that's something I haven't seen before, snow and palm trees in the same picture, naturally. Very nice shot indeed!
