I've never been to this park but we have Joshua trees in Utah. Lovely picture.
This is a perfectly balanced photograph with that tree outlined against the amazing blue sky. Is it a Joshua Tree? I've heard of them but not sure what they look like. Haven't traveled to your part of the U.S. very much except for conference--must remedy.
