Mountain sunset~SOOC Sunday 022011

One afternoon, after school, I headed up Highway 74 to view the sunset. There were quite a few other people at the Vista Point overlook and turnout. I actually traveled down the mountain a little way and pulled over to take this photo. SOOC Sunday, February 20, 2011.

Such an amazing sky and silhouette! Enjoy the snowy scenes above the desert floor...fabulous...

You asked about Lensbaby...its a special lens with various optics for creative blurring in photos. Look up Lensbaby.com and do some reading about the various set-ups for it. Then look in the galleries for sample photos. It's so much fun to use. I have the "Composer" with the double glass optic, as well as the "soft focus optic." I have also acquired the "super wide angle lens" and the "macro kit." I am loving the fun of this...you can purchase one item at a time as you learn and not spend a gazillion dollars all at once! Basically...you can bend the lens to put the "sweet spot" or focus point where you want it...so cool!
