My World for 10/28/08 Palm Springs mountains

Since this is where hubby spends 5-6 days a week, I thought I'd post these pics for my "My World" Tuesday, October 28, 2008. He took these pics in 2006, after a late March snow storm. Aren't our mountains pretty? They are the mountains next to Palm Springs, CA and these pics were taken at the Desert Springs Marriott Resort in Rancho Mirage, CA. Beautiful shots! There was a lot of snow on those mountains that year, wasn't there!? It was awesome. :-)

This is such an amazing contrast of hot & cold... playing golf with snow on the mountains. San Jacinto is beautiful. I love the arial tram & hiking it in Idyllwild. Thanks for sharing.

Nothing like a beautiful resort with palm trees--all summer-looking--set against those gorgeous, snowy mountains! Paradise!

Wow those are beautiful shots. When I think of Palm Springs I certainly don't picture snow.

Thank you for the wonderful tour. This 2nd week of meme really makes us appreciate the many places that we don't usually see or ever had a chance to visit like the one you showed me in this post. Hope you get to have time to check my world too. Another great job and more to come in the coming weeks.

What a great contrast between the winter of San Jacinto and the summer of palms.
