The ranch is now deserted. There is just a tenant there who doesn't work it. It used to be full of cattle, horses, dogs, chickens, geese, and PEACOCKS!!! The father is in with his daughter in Alaska and the mother died a few years ago. They were WONDERFUL, LOVING people! I used to get my alfalfa from them! Their daughter married my cousin and she and he live in Anchorage, Alaska. The ranch is no longer a working ranch. A sad story, but typical of what is happening in the lower end of the valley. MAJOR housing construction is going on and the large ranches, such as this one, are disappearing.

I want to hang a hammock and just stay there. Is that possible?
