The same afternoon we headed out Schulz Road in Flagstaff, we had time to drive out to Sunset Crater and Volcano and Waputki. We arrived at Waputki after the visitor center had closed and it was deserted. Only the ghosts of the ancients remained and some beautiful, feathery clouds. SkyWatch Friday for July 9, 2009
