A large storm is moving into our desert southwest today and this weekend. Rain is forecast down here in the desert and snow is forecast down to 4,000 feet in our local mountains. Yesterday afternoon, the winds were blowing, the clouds were building, and we got a few early sprinkles. Everything was wet and had that delightful, wonderful "rain" smell. My African daisies perked up and 4 more opened. Earlier this week it was 75 degrees. Today it is forecast to be in the 60's. Storm's a'comin'!

Beautiful contrast - the blue sky and the mountain! Happy Skywatch:)
We have had down pours since yesterday afternoon. I don't think I remember it ever raining so hard...
