leaning fence~~Scenic Sunday March 8, 2009
I posted this photo yesterday, along with others from the abandoned red ranch, but I like how the fence frames the photo. Off in the distance you can see the hills at La Quinta, CA.
That's interesting. Are those actually lights strung up on the fence? I wonder if they work. The hills in the background are lovely - I bet you get great views from them. Nice weather you had! Enjoy the first day of daylight savings...
Yes. The family that left strung those lights up on the fence! Isn't that sad? Memories, memories. This is the place I found the abandoned doll among the debris. I'll go back next week with my Olympus camera and hubby and take some more pics.
You have some very interesting and pretty photos here.
It has been years since I seen an Rail Fence, the last time I seen those kinds of fences was when I used to live out in the State of Virgina..."Wow I learn something new all of the time about my home state!
I found your blog from Sandy's Birds, Bees, Bugs and Blossums.

The holiday lights hanging off the broken fence look kind of eerie, but the hills in the distance look soothing. Very interesting scene!

Very interesting indeed. Enjoy your day.
Interesting find ...
I played at Sacred Ruminations today.
Hugs and blessings,
This one's nice but I like the split fence posted previously and the Arizona sunset. Gorgeous!
