Sunrise! Skywatch Friday for March 20, 2009

Yesterday's sunrise was absolutely breathtaking! I only have a few minutes to stop, jump out of my car, and take a couple of quick photos during the weekdays. And, on weekends, I'm usually too worn out to spend time driving around at 7 a.m. trying to get photos of the desert sunrises (although I occassionally do that!). So, I was pleased to see a beautiful, glowing orange sunrise yesterday on my way to school. And, I did stop to take some photos of it! Skywatch Friday for March 20, 2009, welcome Spring!

Cheryl Ann: I appreciate these sunset photos. I promised that I would post desert sunsets since I arrived here in AZ but as you know it comes and sets so fast one has to be there at the right time.Like you after a day hiking in the sun..by sunset I'm just too pooped!
So pleased to see that you are one of Nature-Trails followers!Great to meet you and now I can keep in touch with the southwest after I return home in May!! :) NG

Somehow I missed your post yesterday. What a lovely sunrise. Boy you have a lot of air traffic up there in the skies above - lots of plane trails! By the way, I've posted some barn pics on my Travels with L & Z blog...I see you've found some nice ones too. Enjoy the first days of spring...
