Pinyon and moon~SkyWatch Friday, March 13, 2009

While driving home after working the horses on Sunday, hubby and I stopped at an overlook. It was late afternoon and I walked out to view more of the desert below while hubby stayed by the car. There was a full moon and I did my best to capture it with my old Olympus camera. Aren't the shadows on the hills pretty? That is a pinyon tree leaning out over the overlook. If you click on the photo, you can see all the colors on the pinyon. SkyWatch Friday for March 13, 2009.

The pictures are are so lovely. I take lots of them. I sew quilts and the world has so much color. It's funny how I look at things for their hues. I think you must look at it all that way too.

Beautiful image made more wonderful by the way it is composed. I guess you liked it very much as well, no wonder you made it into your title image of the blog.
