Hubby and I took a drive up to the mountains yesterday. I was on a "barn quest" and while I found several delightful barns (FINALLY!), I also found several beautiful ranch gates, including this one. It was a beautiful, bright, nearly-spring day. The birds were singing, the sun was warm....ah, spring! Enjoy your Sunday~Scenic Sunday for March 14, 2009.

I certainly enjoyed this one...how fun! It reminds me of some of the high country up in the Sierras. Believe it or not, we're getting some rain today! Enjoy the day...

It wasn't that bright & sunny here for the most part - the sun peaked out for just a bit, then it clouded back up! This really is a nice looking entrance! Can't wait to see the barns!
I understand your "barn quest". I do that sometimes, to pick which ones I like best. I love the gates! Yes, spring is almost here!

Okay...what are thoise kinds of entrances to ranches called again?
Went to "Sisters", Oregon and that is what every one had...there is one or two going to my mare barn here as well...love it.like a"Ponderosa" look!
